JAWS for Windows works with your PC to provide access to today's software applications and the Internet. It supports Internet Explorer's links lists, frames lists and forms mode and reads HTML tables, graphic labels and more. The JAWS internal software speech synthesizer uses the computer's sound card to read the information displayed on the screen aloud; providing access to a wide variety of information, education and job related applications. The program has a unique scripting language for customizing access to nonstandard Windows applications and proprietary software. JAWS also controls refreshable Braille displays, providing unmatched Braille access to the computer.

Eloquence, JAWS built-in multi-lingual software speech synthesizer speaks in; American English, British English, Castilian Spanish, Latin American Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Finnish.

Moving the PC and JAWS cursors, or navigating the screen with a Braille Display, produces quick, sharp responses while the speech output remains very fast and accurate!

The Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) offers the most economical way to receive the latest versions of Freedom Scientific software technology. Owners of a SMA receive two consecutive upgrades on CD-ROM with no shipping costs.

Licenses offer cost savings for organizations with multiple users. Site Licenses are available to: Schools, libraries, or agencies/groups serving the blind at single locations. District Licenses are available to: Schools, libraries, or agencies/groups serving the blind at multiple locations. Enterprise Licenses are available to: Businesses or groups at single or multiple locations. Site and District Licenses are available in multiples of five units. Enterprise Licenses are available in multiples of ten units.
